There is greater Glory ahead of you

2025 was a very exciting year. Many Successes were recorded and also many losses. When you look a little closer you will be able to see that the good you experienced outweighs the bad. Many tends to pay more attention on the things they were not able to achieve in the year under review forgetting the fact that they were actually able to achieve a lot. One of the best observation you should make is that being alive is on itself a very great achievement. Many people that are better than you could not make it to this time, they died in spite of they so called privileges. You thought you were disadvantaged but now you should understand that actually you have something they do not have. You have OPPORTUNITY to live and be better. Even if you fail or fall you can rise  up again and still succeed. 

2026 has come with a new hope and opportunity to win.

May you experience the supernatural ability of God this year in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

In 2Co_4:17  apostle Paul wrote "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;" therefore whatsoever you went through or suffered in 2025 cannot be compared the greater things God will be doing in your life in 2026. You may have ended 2025 in shame for lack, poverty, sickness or any trouble but in 2026 every shame shall be replaced with a surpassing weight of Glory. 

Also in Jeremiah 29:11 the Bible says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected".  God declares the end from the beginning meaning that God already knows the end of 2026. And at the end of the year God said you will reach your expectation. Be focused on His word which is is thought for you and do not be distracted by whatever the devil is doing. FOCUS ON THE WORD OF GOD.

RCCG ANNUAL CONVENTION 2026 THEMED "MOUNTAIN MOVERS"

RCCG 74th Annual Convention 2026 — “Mountain Movers”

The 74th Annual Convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) was held from Monday, 3 August to Sunday, 9 August 2026, at the Redemption City, Ogun State, Nigeria, under the powerful theme “Mountain Movers.” The Convention brought together believers from Nigeria and around the world for a week of worship, teaching, prayer, fellowship, ordinations, youth programmes, and powerful spiritual encounters. 

The theme, Mountain Movers, challenged believers to develop the faith, courage and spiritual authority to confront obstacles and trust God for supernatural breakthroughs. It was a continuation of the message of overcoming and a call for God's people not merely to survive their mountains, but to move them by faith.

Day 1 — Monday, 3 August: A Powerful Beginning

The Convention opened with a strong atmosphere of thanksgiving, worship and celebration. One of the major highlights of the opening day was the graduation of Bible College students, marking the commissioning of men and women who had undergone training for greater service in God's Kingdom.

The opening activities set the spiritual direction for the Convention: preparation, consecration, faith and readiness to encounter God. The Convention programme officially began at the Redemption City, with Pastor E.A. Adeboye and other ministers leading the congregation into the Mountain Movers experience. 

Key lesson: Every mountain-moving journey begins with preparation, surrender and a heart that is ready for God.

Day 2 — Tuesday, 4 August: Welcome and Spiritual Empowerment

Day 2 featured the Welcome Service, formally bringing worshippers and delegates together for the Convention experience. The day also included the first major plenary session, with teaching and ministry centred on the Convention's Mountain Movers theme. 

The emphasis was on developing the faith required to face difficult circumstances with confidence in God. Through worship, the Word and prayer, participants were reminded that mountains are not permanent when God is involved.

The Convention also witnessed the ordination of Deacons, Deaconesses and Assistant Pastors, representing another significant step in equipping God's people for service and leadership. 

Key lesson: God does not only remove mountains; He also raises and equips people to become instruments through whom mountains are moved.

Day 3 — Wednesday, 5 August: Faith in Action

Day 3 continued with plenary teaching and ministry sessions, including Plenary Session 2. The day carried a strong atmosphere of praise, prayer and declarations of faith. 

The Convention also gave significant attention to young people through Youth Expression, providing an opportunity for the younger generation to participate actively in the Convention and respond to the call to become Mountain Movers in their generation. 

The day's atmosphere was described through powerful praise and mountain-moving declarations, reinforcing the message that faith must be expressed through action, prayer and obedience to God.

Key lesson: A generation that knows its God can rise above limitations and become a generation of Mountain Movers.

Day 4 — Thursday, 6 August: Mountains Moving Across Generations

Day 4 brought further plenary sessions, including evening sessions focused on the Convention's central message. Reports and Convention updates highlighted the continuing atmosphere of worship, teaching and spiritual expectation at Redemption City.

The day emphasised that God's power is not limited by age, background or circumstance. From children and young people to adults and senior ministers, every generation has a place in God's plan.

The message of Mountain Movers became increasingly practical: believers were encouraged to stop looking at the size of their mountains and start looking at the greatness of their God.

Key lesson: No generation is too young or too old to be used by God. Every generation can carry faith, influence and spiritual authority.

Day 5 — Friday, 7 August: The Holy Ghost Service — Mountain Movers

Friday was one of the major highlights of the Convention as the Holy Ghost Service was held under the theme “Mountain Movers.” Pastor E.A. Adeboye ministered alongside other anointed ministers before a vast gathering of worshippers at Redemption City. 

The service brought together worship, praise, prayer, preaching and powerful declarations of faith. The central message was a call for believers to trust God for the removal of obstacles and to rise into the spiritual identity of Mountain Movers.

The day also featured the YAYA Experience, giving Youth and Young Adults a special opportunity to encounter God, fellowship and respond to the Convention theme.

Key lesson: When faith meets the power of God, impossible situations can become testimonies.

Day 6 — Saturday, 8 August: Communion, Anointing and Spiritual Heritage

Day 6 continued the spiritual momentum of the Convention with the Holy Communion and Anointing Service, identified in the programme as Plenary Session 7. 

The day also included special programmes for different groups within the RCCG family, including Heritage Hour and sessions for the Pastors' Seed Family (PSF). 

The Communion and Anointing Service provided an important moment of consecration and spiritual renewal, reminding believers of Christ's finished work and the power available to those who trust Him.

Key lesson: Mountain Movers must remain connected to Christ, strengthened by God's Word and empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Day 7 — Sunday, 9 August: Grand Finale, Ordination and Thanksgiving

The final day brought the Convention to a glorious conclusion with the ordination of full pastors and the Thanksgiving Service. The closing programme celebrated God's faithfulness throughout the Convention and commissioned newly ordained ministers for greater Kingdom service.

A significant reported outcome of the Convention was the ordination of 2,820 full pastors, 11,830 deacons/deaconesses and 5,977 assistant pastors. These numbers represent a powerful picture of the RCCG's continued commitment to raising and equipping people for ministry. 

The Convention therefore ended not simply as a memorable gathering, but as a commissioning moment. Those who came seeking God were sent back into their families, communities, workplaces and nations with renewed faith and a greater determination to live as Mountain Movers.

Key lesson: We do not leave a God-ordained encounter the same way we came. We leave strengthened, commissioned and ready for greater works.

The 2026 RCCG Annual Convention delivered a simple but powerful message: mountains may be real, but they are not greater than God.

Every believer faces mountains—fear, delay, disappointment, financial challenges, family difficulties, sickness, opposition, limitations and seemingly impossible circumstances. Yet the Convention reminded God's people that faith gives us the courage to confront those mountains rather than surrender to them.

Jesus said:

“If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed... ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” — Matthew 17:20

A Word of Faith

As we reflect on the RCCG 2026 Convention, we declare:

Every mountain before you will move!

Every mountain of limitation will move.
Every mountain of fear will move.
Every mountain of delay will move.
Every mountain of disappointment will move.
Every mountain standing against God's purpose for your life will move.

May God increase your faith, strengthen your prayer life and give you the courage to confront every obstacle through His power.

You will not merely climb your mountain—you will become a Mountain Mover!

May your family become a testimony. May your home experience God's peace. May your work and ministry flourish. May doors that appeared permanently closed open by the power of God.

The God who moved mountains in Scripture is still the same God today.

Your mountain will move. Your testimony will come. Your faith will rise. And God will make you a Mountain Mover!
